Carly Yates is an Interior Designer based in Brooklyn, New York.
Carly developed an intuitive sense of aesthetics and an understanding of various design principles at an early age, having grown up in a family of design and craftsmanship. Her inherent passion for design was enriched not only by her academic study at the prestigious Parsons School of Design, but also from her years of traveling the world. Absorbing rich traditions, discovering the wide array of diverse and intricate design sensibilities and an expanded understanding in the influence of culture further strengthened her love of design. And coming from a childhood of watching her family’s construction business operate, Carly has an ability to blend her unique design sense with precise execution. She not only conceptualizes creative solutions, but she also has the capability to bring those solutions to life in a meticulous manner.
Carly founded and operated her solo design studio for ten years. She spent the next decade focusing on growing a fine art logistics company, further expanding her repertoire, and refining her business building strengths to creating lasting relationships with collectors, artists, and designers.
Carly’s ability to execute her clients vision, while incorporating her own, is one of her greatest strengths and yields exceptional results for the most discerning eye.

For clients with vast property portfolios, Carly offers premium visual design maintenance. Services include seasonal refresh, linen design, full home styling, and adaptable room transformations (like evolving families). She collaborates seamlessly with prior design teams to preserve the home's original integrity.
Fine Art
Drawing from her co-ownership of an art logistics firm, Carly forged robust relationships with galleries and artists. This background enables her to provide comprehensive advisory and logistical services, managing art handling from installation and shipping to strategic placement and bespoke displays.
Consultations
Carly offers diverse consultations for homes and businesses, collaborating with developers, architects, and homeowners. She guides in choosing exquisite finishes like wallpaper, cabinetry, stone, tile, and colors. Carly ensures each detail reflects the client's vision.
Project Management
During projects, Carly serves as the remote design liaison when clients can't be present. She aids in confident decision-making and necessary on-site pivots, working closely with contractors.
